•Shiloh Baptist Church
will hold its annual Home
coming Day on Sunday,
July 30. “We will be com
memorating 154 years
since the founding of Shi
loh Baptist Church and the
work our Lord has done
and is continuing to do,”
organizers said. Sunday
school will begin at 10 a.m.

worship at 11 a.m. The

delivered by Brother Da
vid Wade of Macedonia

Ministerial Association
meets the first Monday of
the month at 7 p.m. As
sociation leaders recent
ly changed the meeting
dates to give bi-vocational
and other ministers who
have scheduling conflicts
the opportunity to partic
ipate. “While we will not
have a meal, we do plan
to have coffee, soft drinks
and snacks,” said organiz
ers. Meetings will be held
each month at a chmch
that volunteers to host.

Madison County 2023Jubilee coming up July 22
The Madison County
2023 Jubilee will be held
on July 22 at the old Col
bert Elementary School.
A car show will start in
the parking lot at 3 p.m.
A family-friendly talent
show, Bible quiz, 50’s/60’s
quiz and door prize give
away will be held in the
auditorium from 5 to
8:30 p.m. There will also
be food vendors on-site.
For those wishing to
make an entry in the car
show, the entry fee will be
$10. All proceeds will go to
the prizes for the top three
entries. Other activities are
free to participate.
“We encourage people to
come out for fun and fel
lowship,” organizers said.
“We just want to boost
people’s spirits and stir up
some excitement in Madi
son County.”

The Madison Area Re
source Team (M.A.R.T.)
will be hosting its annual
Back-to-School Rally on
Thursday, July 27, from
5:30 p.m. to 7 pm. The
event will be held at the
Madison County Middle
School and will feature
a Connections Fair. The
Connections Fair is in part
nership with the Madison
County Chamber of Com
merce. The fair will consist
of a Community Resource
Fair and Job Fair. Employ
ers planning to participate
in the job fair include
Spartan Fabrication, Mad
ison County Government,
Comer Health and Reha
bilitation, Vital Workforce
Solutions, MedLink Geor
gia, SPG, Georgia Metals
and Hope Haven of North
