Fn the wonderful medicine to which the afflict
ed are above directed for relief, the discoverer
be! ve* lie has combined in harmony more of
Mature’s sovereign curative properties, which
-:od has instilled into the vegetable kingdom
.or healing the sick, than were ever before com
bined in one medicine. The evidence of this fact
is found in the great variety of most obstinate
diseases which it has been found toconquer. In
the cure of llrotieliitiM, Severe Cough*,
and the early stages of Comii mption, ii has
a tonished the medical faculty, and eminent
pit;. * icians pronounce it the greatest medical
discovery of the age. While it cures the sever
ed Coughs, i< strengthens the system ami puri
fies the blood. By its great anil thorough
blond-purifying properties, it cures all Hu
mors, from 1 lie worst Scrofula to a common
Stloteh, Pimple,or Eruption. Mercurial
disease, Mineral I’oisons, and their effects, are
eradicated, and vigorous health and a sound
constitution established. Ery*lpcla*. Salt

Skin. in slant, all the numerous diseases caused
by bad blood, arc conquered by this powerful,
purifying, and invigorating medicine.
If you feel dull, drowsy, debilitated, have sal
low color of skin, or yellowish brown spots on
face or body, frequent headache or dizziness,
bad taste in mouth, internal bent or chills alter
nated with hot flushes, low spirits, and gloomv
forebodings, irregular appetite, and tongue
coate 1, you arc suffering from Torpid I.iver,
or “ liniouNiie**.” In many cases of
“Elver Complaint” only part of these
symptoms are experienced. Asa remedy for
nil siu li cases, Dr. Pierce’s Golden Medical Dis
covery lias no equal, as it effects perfect cures,
leaving the liver strengthened and healthy.

Tiiis instrument is especially designed for the
pericct application of
DR. SAGS’S CATARRH REMEDY.
It is the only form of instrument yet invented
with which llnid medicine can be carried high
up and perfectly applied to all parts of tiie affect
ed nasal passages, and the chambers or cavities
communicating therewith, in which sores and
ulcers frequently exist, and from which the ca
tarrhal discharge generally proceeds. The want
of success in treating Catarrh heretofore has
arisen largely from the impossibility of applying
remedies to these cavities and chambers by any
of the ordinary methods. This obstacle in the
way of effecting cures is entirely overcome by
the invention of the Douche. Its use is pleasant
and so simple that a child can understand it.
Full and explicit direction* accompany
each instrument. When used with this instru
ment, l)r. Sage’s Catarrh Remedy cures recent
flfa, attacks of “Cold in the
a atfEgWl Head ”by a few applications.
rSCATARRH
SY HI PT HlS— Frequent
headache, discharge falling into throat, some
times profuse, watery, thick mucus, purulent,
offensive, etc. In others, a dryness, dry, watery,
weak, or inflamed eyes, stopping up, or obstruc
tion, of nasal passages, ringing in ears, deaf
ness, hawking and coughing to clear throat,
ulcerations, scabs from'ulcers, voice altered,
nasal twang, offensive breath, impaired or total
deprivation of sense of smell and taste, dizzi
ness, mental depression, loss of appetite, indi
gestion, enlarged tonsils, tickling cough, etc.
Only a few of these symptoms arc likely to be
present in any case at one time.
Dr. Sage’* Catarrh Remedy, when used
with Dr. Fierce’* Nasal Douche, and ac
companied with the constitutional treatment
which is recommended in the pamphlet that
wraps each bottle of the Remedy, is a perfect
specific for this loathsome disease.' It is mild and
pleasant to use, containing no strong or caustic
drugs or poisons. The Catarrh Remedy is sold at
00 cents, Douche at 00 cents, by all Druggist*.
