tleman, in Peterahurgh (Geo.)
to his friend in this city,
noted April 21.
“ A Gentleman witlr whom f
conversed yesterday, and who is
directly from St. Louis (Louisi

Loss of the Gabriel Duval.
We are sorry to announce the
loss of the regular trading Packet
Schooner Gabriel Duval, Capt.
Watt, on tier parage from this
port for Nassau. On the 12ih ir,st.
iive days after sailing, she got -
shore on the North side of Abaco.
The vessel and principal part ot
tne cargo were totally lost —rite
Captain, Passengers and Crew
were taken oil by a wrecker and
cart led into Nassau. Capt. Watt
name passenger in the sloop Rox
ana, arrived this morning.
