The London Times, of ‘he
21st of March contains the fob
lowing articles :

stroyed the Igniton fi'-e -vessel ;
Prospero, bomb ; and we fenr
others of his majesty’s ships,
made a wreck ot no less, than 55
vessels, between Cape D’Alpre
and Dieppe ;to the latter place
between two and three hundred
English, who were saved have
been marched prisoners. The
gale of the I.Bth of February’ will
bean epoch among naval men,
lamentably memorable to those
who are, or may be stationed off
the coast of France.
“ Boulogne exhibits a singu
lar appearance to those who have
been accustomed to reconnoitre
it during the present war. Not
long since, it was the depot of
all the best and finest troops in
Bonaparte’s army ; now there is
not an appearance of a formed
soldier in the place ; merely a
very few conscripts of the de
partment. Lately the position
was deemed of the utmost im
portance, |>nd shells were thrown
even on the possibility of their
reaching our cruizers ; now tne
batteries, whenever they have
occasion to woik them, are man
