The abolition prints of Lawrence, in this
Territory, can’t work in the traces together.
One Mows too hot, and one to too cold.—
One editor did’nt come to Kansas to join in
tirades against the South, hut to establish
“freedom” in the Territory, find steal ne
groes from Missouri, aubrosa, while another
affirms no person can be a “true black” Ab

ning off the entire generation of negroes in
Missouri. Nor are they more united re

monious discord.” “Go it ye cripples,”

Abolitionists at Work.
We .arc informed upon reliable authority,
that a n egro belonging to Mr. Yocum, for
merly of .Jackson co., Missouri, now living
on the Meredeziue, was run off and harbor
ed in the town of Lawrence, the headquar
ters of the Abolitionists and the Emigrant
Aid Society. The negro woman was traced
up to where she was found by Messrs.
Wade and Ilohinsoti. Messrs. W, and R.
demanded the negro, and she was refused
to bo given up. The abolitionists were then
told if they did not give up the negro their
town would be in a-dies in 24 hours. Fear
ing the power of the “rascally Missourians,”
they wisely concluded to surrender up the
slave. The negro says, since her return, the
abolitionists kept her concealed, and for two
nights she slept in the same bed with a
white woman, the wife of a preacher.— I dens by mail will receive prompt attent

Itgive** me pleasure to add my testimony to the vir- I
tue* of your great medicine. One of my blooded horse* i
had a swelling over the cap of the knee, abou t the size j
of £kben*»egg. Some said it was a .Train. and some, ,
that it was the joint water from the knee, aod could j
not be cured. I tried oil cedai on it, and all the lii.i- j
mentfi and ointments, and they did no more go«»d than f
water. I then, by persuasion of my friends, tried H. '
G. Farrell’s Arabian liniment, and I was happy to find
it take efiect after a few days, and it finally cured the
noble animal entirely. I think it is decidedly the great
est liniment foj horse*.-, and as well as human fiesh, I
ever knew.

of ileafnc.-s have been successfully healed by him.

Dr. Dufton is the only practitioner in the United
States who practices the new, painicss, and success
ful method in treating all the diseases to which
the Eye is subject. Where every other means has
failed to afford relief, he asks from such a fair im
partial triaL
Testimony.
The undersigned practitioners of Medicine in
the city of New York, having had occcasion to
witness the practice of Drs. LeBrun & Dufton, in
diseases of the Ear and Eye, laying aside ail pro
fessional jealousy, freeiy admit that the course
pursued by them in treating diseases of these del
icate organs, from the unparalleled success attend
ing it. is well worthy the attention of our profes
sional brethren throughout the United States, be
lieving as we do, that Aural Surgery has not met
with that attention which its importants demands.
Their system of treating diseases of the middle
and internal Ear, in chronic or complicated cases
by means of “Medicated Vapors," forms anew
era in the practice of Aural Surgery, and fills up
a void which has long been felt by the general
practitioner. In diseases of the Eye. they seldom
require to resort to an operation. As skillful Au-
rists and Oeulis, enthusiastically devoted to their
profession, we cordially recommend them to such
as require their aid.

FEVER AND AGUE OURK.
Or, Nature’s Invaluable Specific,
F 011 the prevention aud cute of Intermittent and
Remittent Fevers, Fever and Ague, Chills and
Fever, Dumb Ague, General Debility. Night
.sweats, aud all other forms of disease which have
a common origin in Malaria or Miasma. The .sub
tle atmospheric poison which at certain seasons is
unavoidably inhaled at every breath, is the same
in character wherever it exists,—North, South.
East or West,—and will every where yield to this
newly discovered antidote, which is claimed to be
tbe greatest discovery in medicine over made.
This specific is so harmless that it may be taken
by persons of every age, sex or condition audit
will not substitute for one disease others still
worse, as is too often the result in the treatment by
Quinine, Mercury, Arsenic, and other poisonous or
deleterious drugs, not a particle of any of which
is admitted into this preparation.
The proprietor distinctly claims the-o extraordi
nary results from the use of this natural antidote
to Malaria.
It will entirely protect any residont or traveler
even in the most sickly or swampy localities, from
any Ague, or Bilious disease whatever, or any- in
jury from constantly inhaling Malaria or Miasma.
It will instantly check the Ague in persons who
have suffered for any length of time, from one day
to twenty years, so that they need never have
another chill, by continuing its use according to
directions.
It will immediately relieve all distressing results
of Billious or Ague disease, such as general debil
ity, night sweats, <fcc. The patient at once begins
to recover nppetite and strength, and continues
until a permanent and radical eure is effected.
Finally, it- use will banish Fever and Ague
from families and all classes. Farmers and all
laboring men by adopting it as a preventive will
be free from Ague or Billious attacks in tha* sea
son of the year which, while it is the most sickly,
is the most valuable one to them.
One or two bottles will answer for ordinary cas
es, some may require more.
Directions printed in German.French and Span

Price One Dollar. Liberal discounts made to
