Oxygenated Bitters in Europe.
From Rev. L. Doolittle, a highly respectable Cler-
V gyman.
Par •is, November 1, 1851.—Dear Sir: About two
years since T made use of a few bottles of your Oxy
genated Bitters, for a stomach complaint, which was
at that time relieved.
Since my stay in England and France, I have
found my ffid enemy, irritability of the stomach, re
suming again. I have not found anv prescription
lo affoi cLmc relief, and 1 made inquiries in London
for your < Ixygentated Bitters, but could not find any.
I write now to beg you will do me the favor to send
by the earliest steamer to Havre, half a dozen bot
tles, care of Livingston, Wells lc Cos., Place de la
Bourse, Paris.
An old friend of mine in England, Captain Jack
son, of the British Army, I found, on iny arrival,
suffering from Asthma, manifestly the result of dys
pepsia. Send an additional half a dozen bottles, I
should like to have the Captain try the medicine,
I beg to observe, as I am not aware that my name
is known to you, that I have been the resident cler
gyman for some twenty-three years, in Sherbrook
and Lennoxville, Canada East, to which charge I
hope to be able to return in the spring.
1 remain, dear sir, your obedient servant,

Messrs. P. Davis & Son—Dear Sirs: The Karens

have now by me orders for more than fifty bottles;
I therefore wish you to send me a quantity, and I
will pay you through the Treasurer of the Missiona

high in the estimation the Karens of these provinces
as your Pjun Kfiler, and I feel willing to gratify them,
as I entertain a very high opinion of its worth.
Messrs. Perry Davis A Son—l find it necessary to
address you again, as my most sanguine expectations
have been more than realized. The call for your
valuable medicine is increasing so very rapidly that
1 fear I shall soon be unable to keep pace with it.—

Holloway’s Ointment and Pills,—Ex
traordinary Cure ofa Bad Breast.—The wife of Mr.
Arthur Burn, of New Orleans, Louisiana, was, after
the birth of their last child, a constant sufferer with
a bad breast, there were several holes in it, and de
spite of the various remedies tried, her husband
could not get anything to cause it to heal. After
every other remedy had failed to benefit the suffer
er, she had recourse to Holloway’s Ointment and
Pills, which, as a matter of course, quickly caused
a i improvement in the appearance of the affected
parts, and by perseverance with these tine remedies
fora few weeks, she was completely cured. This
wonderful Ointment will also readily cure all dis
eases of the skin.

Dr. Herron having long received a liberal pat
ronage from his numerous friends throughout this
community, together with various calls from a dis
tance, begs leave to tender his thanks to all whom
it may concern; wishing them to remember that he
continues at his old stand, near Penfield.
Having associated wfith him D. H. Herron, in the
practice of Medicine, in its various branches, is now
more fully prepared to attend to chronic cases at a
distance, upon the same liberal terms that he has
done for several years, namely: any person who be
ing afflicted with any form of disease, that will write
out their symptoms, and inclose therewith five dol
lars, and send the same to our address, will receive in
return, medicine and directions to suit their case, lor
one month. Many persons have been treated and
cured upon this plan, with a great saving to the af
flicted; some of them living from 50 to over 100
miles, numbers of whom we have never seen, while
we have had the consolation of meeting others after
their convalescence.
The undersigned has been closely engaged in the
practice for more than 20 years, adhering strictly to
the use of sanative remedies which are used in the
Reformed Practice; having had much experience in
the treatment of female diseases peculiar to this cli

MONEY I MONEY l MONEY ‘
WHY l>e without money? when it is just as
easy for any one to be around with a pocket
full as not, if they only think so. I have got anew
article, from which from five to twenty dollars a day
can be made, either by male or female, ft is a highly
respectable business, and an article which is wanted
in every family in the United States. Enclose me
two dollars by mail, at my risk, and 1 will forward
by return mail a Circular, with full instructions in
the art. The business is very easy. Try it, if you
are out of employment, and you will never regret it;
for it will be better for you to pay the above sum,
and insure a good business, than to pay twenty-five
cents for a spurious advertisement. Tins is no hum
bug. Try it! Try it! Try it! Address your
letters to ® WIGHT MONROE, New York.
