DR. JAMES W. PRICE’S
CHOLERA CARMINATIVE CORDIAL.
LET it not be forgotten; as the season for bowel
affections has arrived, that there is in this Cor
dial a never failing remedy, and ho who does not
keep it in hiSfamily, “denies the faith, and Is worse
than .an infidel,” for it will cure , and no mistake.
CERTIFICATES.
Athens, September 23, 1858.
Db. James W. Price,
My Dear Sir:—l owe you an apology lor not ac
knowledging sooner, your kindness in placing in my
hands, through our mutual friend, A. Billups, Esq.,
a bottle of Cholera Carminative Cordial The con
tents were soon exhausted—l tried it personally, but
more effectually on one of my sorts, who had a vio
lent attack of Dysentery. The medicine acted
promptly, and efficiently ‘ y and I feel authorized,
therefore, to recommend it in strong terms, as a
pleasant and safe remedy for bowel affections.—
Wishing you, sir, ell the success in life to which
your perseverance entitles you, I am truly yours,
JOS. HENRY LUMPKIN.
Be.tesville, Independence Cos., Arkansas, (
December 18th, 1866. i)
James W. Price, M. D.
Dear Sir —In compliance with my promise, I write
you in reference to your Cholera Carminative Cor
-dial. I have fairly tried it in eight cases—four ©f
them were of long standing, having ten to twenty
bloody discharges in about every 24 hours. In each
of these cases I gave but 2 doses, with entire relief.
The remaining four cases, I gavo only one dose,
which proved effectual—you know I had to be spar
ing. as l had but a small bottle. I could sell one
hundred booties in this vicinity, if I had them, since
I cured those persons, as I have almost an hourly
call for the preparation. - I could send you certifi
cates if it were ne&ssary.
Respectfully, •-* R. CLAYTON.
gaj§F“ Permit me to say to those who use my pre
paration, that it is safe and effectual— and when
properly and fairly tried, in those diseases for which
it is prescribed, it will scarcely ever fail. Be sure to
follow the printed directions upon each bottle. In
some cases* where thes e are frequent, small dis
charges of blood and mucous, with great pain, I
would in the first attack, advise the administration,
to an adult, of one table spoonful of oil with 00 drops
of Laudanum, repeating in 12 hours, if the oil should
not operate —afterwards, using the cordial according
to directions.
N. B. Persons who have used my preparation in
their families would do mo a favor by forwarding
certificates in refference to the success attending its
administration,
