THE BARB - S DALE'S WORLD Editor’s Note: Some of you will recognize his name his name from past publications or other activities that he has been engaged in. But for those of you who are meeting him for the first time we will give a brief biography. In the past he has been a writer for such publications as Pleasure, Fun, Bi- Plane, Naked World and has appeared in Screw, Arisex, San Francisco, Ball, In Magazine, and Pleasure World Magazine. Some of you may have seen his nude phbtography in one of the above publictions, or when it was featured in Golden Boys, Blade Male, Spring Time For Youth, or Male Classics. He was also the first person to introduce the male nude to the sex-paper publications in this country. In Europe and Sweden his work has been on the best-seller list. His work has reached just about every country in the world. In our country he co-produced one of the first male burlesque shows and worked for Gay Liberation before the term was ever heard of. His worked toward this through an area that everyone had said would not work - through the straight sex magazines. By nature he is a quiet man, but he has never been afraid of speaking his mind. While others were hiding behind nome-de- plumes he was writing under his own name, and was the first writer the reveal himself publicly as bi-sexual. His famous column. Bilines, was the first and the only one to have mixed gay and straight feelings together. One last word about Frank. FOUNTAIN OF YOUTH I am vain as the next person, and I love it when I am taken for 10 to 20years younger than I am.
