By: Douglas Wayne Oh, seer of visions and dreamer of dreams Let your sandcastles be washed to the sea For it’s time to take a stand Grab this world by the hand Let them know there is you and me. Let your heart linger no longer For the life you desire to live Let your tears no longer be shed in vain For the love your want to give. Hold your head high Look the world in the face Let if here you say. I’m tired of this closet And hidding in bars And God knows I’m glad I’m gay. Let no man be your foe Let no one look down on you For the love you feel And feelings you yield Are pure, honest and true. So, push your way through the crowd. Take your place in the parade Can’t you hear that voice within you cry Be true to who and what you are Refuse to live a lie. the most endorsed bill before Council in the last ten years (list enclosed). Since the full Council is up for election, and views the bill as very con troversial it was suggested by friendly Council members that is rest until the fall. It is expected to pass, and all the candidates for mayor have agreed to sign it except for a minor can didate that has little chance.
