MR. PEYTON PLACE contest was smashing. PAUL LYNDE, TV’s funnyman was one of the judges and was really funny when FRANK POWELL introduced him from the stage.. .There were 12 Beautiful Boys in the competition they were talented and all greased up and down. I saw what was going on back stage when I was changing my NEW DRESS! Between the ap pearances of the contestants, Special Guests were there for the buffet and joined me on stage with songs and dances. The very popular star DESIREE SINCLAIR gave he^ all CINDY, who just returned from the PURPLE COW in Pensacola brought die house down with her LIZA act and the entire cast from die ONYX were on stage. . MISS ATLANTA, Roski Fernandes, as usual stopped the show. PHYLLIS lost two pounds of beads with her “DOLLY” song and lost her wig which proves, “You Should never try to fool Mother Nature.” R.C. COLA was named winner MR. PEYTON PLACE, LEHMAN SMITH was first runner up and RAY ABOLO was second runner up. They all receiver beautiful trophies with Drag cars on them since the order was placed for trophies for a drag show. PAUL LYNDE said I was a camp so i sat in Ms lap and looked campy. PEYTON PLACE is now in full swing and there are many events planned for the next month. COCKTAIL From ATLANTA COMEDY HOUR from 7 till 8. There will be several short shows and PHYLLIS KILLER, PEARL BAILEY, MADOMOISELLE DE KITT, CRIS CROSS and there will be guest spots for glamour like RONDA BLAKE, DESIREE and DIAMOND LIL.
