Friday, June 17th, and Saturday, June 18th,. will be the official celebration of the 1st anniversary of the 40 Watt reopening. That first show one year ago was a special event because of the incredible performance by Love Tractor. Just opening was quite a feat for owners Barrie, Jared, and soundman Pat. After searching for a building for months it only took three weeks to get the club open after aquiring the lease to the present location. To celebrate this auspicious occasion there will be a special edition of Disco Night on Friday the 17th, with Sammy Mapp as D.J. The festivities and dancing will go until at least 3:00 a.m. On Saturday the 18th the Kilkenny Cats will be tearing down the walls with material from their new album Hammer. 10i
