I want to have the facts before I call the organized religious zealots (the ones that called the advertisers and distributors in a smear campaign) a bunch of hypocritical busybodies. The police still deny confiscating the stacks of magazines illegally, even though there were eyewitnesses. Their alibi is probably that they were in the park drinking at the time. The state court solicitor has not made up his mind whether he thinks the article is in violation of obscenity laws but then he has over a thousand cases up in the air right now anyway, just floating around in limbo. Like I said, I can’t say anything until I have more facts. The ACLU wrote back to Patrik Keim and t requested more facts also. Maybe we can dig them up even though the Flagpole has been covered with a large pile of pious, legal, and political bull.
