Art Patrol
A feast for the eyes this week.
Art and cuisine:
Downstairs—Works by Chris Bilheimer and
Eric Furlong.
Figaro's—Paintings by Richard Booth. Lots
of great colors, stop in.
Grit—Jeremy Ayers’ paintings are up thru
this week. Brilliant subject matter, go see
what he’s done.
Art and retail:
Go — Reflections: Paintings by David
Keatings.
Crystal Gardens—"Tinsel, Paper, and Paint",
works by Pamyla M. Reddick.
Loblolly— On display will be photography,
weaving, watercolor paintings, oil paintings,
and jewelry all crafted by local artists.
Art and hair:
Rage — Jim Stipemaas’ watercolors on
handmade paper, thru March.
Strand— Tina Magher, pastels on paper,
thru March.
Art a la carte:
Artwares — Works by Mike Shetterley, fea
turing watercolors on gesso. The opening
reception is on the 23rd from 7 to 9, the show
closes on the 6th of April. Shetterley has
masterful technique in this medium, produc
ing deep, rich colors. A must see.
Aurum Studios— Photos by Cathy Russo .
Visual Arts Building — The Southeastern
Ceramics show.
Loef Gallery— at Park Plaza: Featuring paint
ings, glass, pottery, wood and jewelry and
sculpture by local artists.
Georgia Museum of Art— An exhibition of
fifteen works by Odilon Redon, the nine
teenth-century French symbolist painter, from
March 23 to May 5. Beginning in April, "Old
Master Paintings from Vanderbilt University,"

Freddy Wittop, A Fifty-Year Retrospective,"
A celebration of the career of one of the
century’s most important costume designers
Tate Center Gallery— "Bon Temps Rouler,"
photography exhibiton, ends Mar. 30.
Ecology Gallery— An exihibition of work by
artists Bea Hatala, Margaret Agner, and Pat
Staub will by on display March 4-29. The
show is titled "Landscapes of the Mind and
Other Escapes."
Athens-Clarke Heritage Foundation/Fire Hall
Gallery—"Group Art Exhibit and Sale," by
the Bramlette Painters. The media will by
watercolors; opening Mar.17, ends April 10.
