Wildlife
Trail — Exhbi-

contest winners
will take place on
Saturday, April 4 at the Bear Hollow Wildlife
Trail, located in Memorial Park
Special Events:
14th Annual Athens Human Rights Festival
Art Auction—The Human Rights Festival will
be held again this year in College Square on
May 9 and 10. The Festival began in 1978 as a
rally to memorialize the Kent State Massacre
and has grown into a weekend event featuring
speakers, musicians, information booths, and
many other events. Money raised is being slated
for a local non-profit group and one ol the ways
the Festival raises money is by holding an art
auction. In the past, artists that have donated
works include Howard Finster, Pat Cardiff, Mose
Tolliver, Michael Lachowski, Michael Stipe, and
Greg Benson. The Art Auction Committee is
now accepting donations for this year’s event.
