Christmas in Dfada. Christmas in Dixie,
featuring lights by the thousand, carols
and assorted holiday tableaux, is open
every evening till New Year's Day. To get
there, follow Hwy. 78 through Lexing
ton (approximately 15 miles); on the
ciher side of Lexington, turn right onto
Georgia 22. Christmas in Dixie is seven
miles down Hwy. 22 on the right.
Auction. The Athens-Clarke Heritage
Foundation hosts its Heritage Auction
Gala Friday, Dec. 13. at 7 p.m. in the
Classic Center. Silent auction is from 7-
9 p.m.. live auction begins at 9:15 p.m.,
