What began as a weekly all-girl open rr.ic night in a San
Francisco bar has metamorphosed into a raucous rambling
road show that has somehow made its crooked way back to
our town. These foul-mouthed lovely ladies promise another
rowdy evening of poetry, social! commentary, trapeze tricks,
and performance art that is sure to leave more than a few
jaws dropped on the butt-littered floor. The show was turned
down by more than one lesbian bar along the way, but the
folks at Lunch Paper said “Bring it on!” Call Lunch Paper at

Hey baby, what’s your sign? Moses Siregar is offering a
final workshop before leaving Athens for Colorado.
Saturday’s program is called “The Wisdom of Astrology” and
includes fun, hands-on exercises designed to “give peope a
good overview of the whole zodiac and see how they relate
to each sign,” according to Siregar. Prices are $30 for one day
and $50 for both if you’re a student and $50 and $80 if not.
