LOWERY GALLERY AND SCULPTURE GROUNDS
(Danielsville) "The Athens Regional Juried
Photography Show," an exhibit of over 50 works in
various photographic media from Athens and beyond.
Photographers featured in the exhibit are: Chris
Herron, Vyvyan Hughes, Ben Jose, Paula Nail,
Jonathan Evans, Edie Parsons, Lauren Schwartz,
Saburah Posner, Frank Hamrick, Kristine Potter,
Charles Freeman, Wiley Sanderson, Mary Sayer
Hammond, Chuck Hemard, Michael Guerzon, Jim
Parker, Tina Halcomb, Kevin Hoth, Lauren Woolley,
Amy Lipham and Susan Czechowski. The juror for the
show was Jim Buonaccorsi who selected 3 winners
and 6 honorable mentions. Through Sept. 8. Also, an
outdoor sculpture show featuring works by resident
artists from the Slcss Furnace. Artists include Erik
Johnson, Allen Peterson, Matt Eaton, Elizabeth
Kronfield and Matthew Wicker. In addition, sculptures
by Jim Buonaccorsi, Chris Fennell, John Raulerson,
Matthew Wicker, Beth Steele, David Jones, Terry
Glispin and Dylan Neuwirth.
