(Danielsville) “The Athens Regional Juried
Photography Show," an exhibit of over 50 works in
various photographic media from Athens and beyond.
Fhotographers featured in the exhibit are: Chris
Herron, Vyvyan Hughes, Ben Jose, Paula Nail,
Jonathan Evans, Edie Parsons, Lauren Schwartz,
Saburah Posner, Frank Hamrick, Kristine Potter,
Charles Freeman, Wiley Sanderson, Mary Sayer
Hammond, Chuck Hemard, Michael Guerzon, Jim
Parker, Tina Halcomb, Kevin Hoth, Lauren Woolley,
Amy upham and Susan Czechowski. The juror for the
show was Jim Buonaccorsi, who selected 3 winners

outdoor sculpture show featuring works by resident
artists from the Sioss Furnace. Artists include Erik
Johnson, Allen Peterson, Matt Eaton, Elizabeth

CLASSES
ACT CLASSES Athens Creative Theatre and leisure
Services present a series of musical theater-related
workshops for grades 9 through adult. These sessions
include "Auditioning for the Musical Theatre" with
three sessions taught by Stacy Schwartz—New York
actress and ACT performer. They also include five ses
sions taught by Michael Harris—New York performer
and current cast member of the '*-»tional touring
company of the Broadway smash Joseph and the
Amazing Technicolor Dreomcoat. Two sessions will be
taught by Kara Keene and David Langley, long-time
ACT performers. The series will culminate in a final
performance at the Morton Theatre. Sundays, begin
ning Sept 10 from 7:15 p.m. to 9:15 p.m. Cost $72.
