ATHICA HOMELESS BENEFIT In conjunction with
the current exhibit "Neither Here Nor There:
Perspectives on Homelessness." ATHICA presents an

PEPE LOPEZ MARIACHI BAND 'La Musica y Los
Colores de Mexic?: The Sounds and Colors of
Mexico," an hour-long concert of traditional mana-
chi music with the Pepe Lopez Mariachi Band. Also,
learn more about the art of Guadalajara, the birth
place of mariachi music, with Dr. Evan Fierston, prof,

CHILDREN OF AN IDOL MOON PEN Award

candidate Cheryldee Huddleston's Children
of an Idol Moon examines the cloistered,
haunted world of Wutherinq Heights author
Emily Bronte, the complex relationships she
had with her siblings, and the multi-layered
parallels between the creator and what
she created. Ms. Huddleston has worked
closely with the actors and director; this
is the Southeastern premiere of the show

COLORED PEOPLE'S TIME The UGA Black

People's Time, a play by award-winning
African-American playwright Leslie Lee. The
play is series of vignettes depicting events

through the eyes of the ordinary people who made

Center of Northeast Georgia is hosting the 3rd annu
al Bar Light event at the 40 Watt Club on Saturday,
