MAORI DANCE The Kahurangi Maori Dance Theatre

MOMIX The Classic Center's Entertainment Series
continues with "Passion’ by Mor.tx, one of the most
innovative dance and performance troupes in the
world. "Passion" combines the music of Peter Gabriel
with the choreography of company director Moses
Pendelton to create a world of "surrealistic images
using props, light, shadow, humor and the human

MUSIC FOR PEACE The Music for Peace events take
place all over the world on the weekend of Mar. 31-
Apr. 2: this is the first year Athens is participating.
The Healing Arts Center hosts a concert featuring
Voices of Truth, Banish Misfortune and the Gabriel
Kelley Band. All proceeds go to Jubilee Partners and
the Fellowship of Reconciliation. Friday, Mar. 31

POLAROID STORIES University Theatre presents
Naomi Iizuka's PEN Award-winning Polaroid Stories.
The play is based on a series of interviews with
street kids chronicling lives filled with drugs, vio
lence and prostitution. This production features
"contact theatre, a form of dance-theatre that draws
inspiration from a number of dance and modern
