Adam Fiedler, whose son's bar mitzvah

I hear mildew.
However. 13-vear-old Benjamin (Daryl
Sahara) is less interested in having the
best party than he is in reuniting his
father with his estranged grandfather
(Garry Marshall, writer-director Scott

chuckle or two on home video. Keeping
Up with the Steins proves no match

grimaces and smacks his bitch before
masquerading as an infant to recover
a stolen diamond. Once infantilized,
Marlon simply grins and bears it

stumbles along as Calving a Jopted
pops, oblivious to his new sunS dis
turbingly adult hormones and stiength
Too overtfy sexual for kids, but far too
juvenile tor anyone with a disaiminat- '
ing palate, the exact audience for Little
Man eludes me Still, since the Wayans
went lowest common denominator
with their comedy, one can hardly
argue with their box office track record
It's just a shame the racially-charged
humor of *ILC* and Don’t Be a Menace

cridraclers with a sprawling sense of
landscape (in this case Mexico) that
garnered him a Grand Jury Prize at
Sundance two years ago. Unfortunately,
these are too often overwhelmed by the
gnawing, face-twisting, maelstrom ol
organic debris known as Jack Black.
