ASHFORD MANOR CONCERT SERIES Spread out on
the lawn for a picnic supper and hear some great
music. Held on the first and third Monday of every

Sunflower Music Series at the State Botanical Garden
of Georgia continues with a performance by Grogus.
The concert is outdoors in the International Garden

WUGA'S ANNUAL LIVE SHOW The evening comes
alive with music and words as WUGA presents the
live show "Once in a Blue Moon." Broadcast live
over WUGA, the evening's performers include Rosa

Wildcats, the UGA Opera Ensemble, Angela Elam of
"New Letters on the Air," and David Bryant. UGA

84 CHARING CROSS ROAD Athens Creative Theatre
presents a dessert theatre production of 84 Charing
Cross Road by James Roose-Evans. The perfor
mances are a benefit for Athens-Oconee CASA (Court
Appointed Special Advocates). The story is told
through a series of letters between a struggling
New York writer and an antiquarian bookseller in
London. Memorial Park Quinn Hall on Friday, Aug. 17

ALWAYS...PATSY CLINE The Elbert Theatre presents
Always...Patsy Cline by Ted Swindley. The show is
based on the true story of Cline's relationship with

"FACES II: A BROADWAY REVIEW" "Faces" is a fam
ily-friendly musical revue the purpose of which is to
present a high-quality show while raising money for

Contini stars in his original one-man show about the
life and work of Julian Eltinge, vaudeville performer,

actresses Stephanie Astalos-Jones and Lisa Mende
("Seinfeld") present the original two-woman com
edy show "It Was Open Mic Night at Ye Olde Rustic
Inn," a "zany look at five comedy teams braving
an open mic night." The show has been playing
to sold-out crowds the last couple months. The
