The main attrac tion is buzzy ATL duo Paid in AmeriKKKA, whose fluid sound draws equally from trap, boom bap and futuristic funk, as heard on the group’s self-titled 2017 album. South Carolina’s Shyland Flowers puts an old-school spin on indie rap, and Atlanta emcee Bastard Hootie makes his Athens debut. Locals Motorhead 2x and Trvy round things out for The Garden Bed’s first edition. [GV] Dodd Galleries - 6-8 p.m. - FREE! Organized by Tif Sigfrids, “Kiki Kogelnik, Julia Scher, Erika Vogt, Lisa Williamson" presents works made between 1967 and the present that touch on technology in relation to the human body and representations of the female figure. “Bad from Cortona" shares photo graphs from artists who have participated in UGA’s Italy study abroad program over the past 50 years. Grad students Nick Abrami, Christina Foard and Mary Gordon explore personal histories in “Codified Color,” while MFA candidate Robby Toles reimagines the YouTube blog with a rec itation of a 19th Century love letter in ‘Immortal Beloved." [Jessica Smith] Go Bar - 8 p.m. - Donations Designed to raise awareness of mental health issues, Brain Aid Fest concludes its seven-day run with a show in memory of Athens artist Mina Kim, who died last year. The evening kicks off with Elephant 6 OG Robert Schneider, who will demon strate his Teletron synthesizer, which is controlled by the performer’s brain waves. Je Suis France, the longtime Athens/ Atlanta indie-rock supergroup, will debut tracks from its upcoming album, Back to the Basics of Love. Others on the bill include Charleston, SC, jammers Tomatoband, local folk project Sailors and Ships, Harry Carey frontman Jim Willingham and more. [Gabe Vodicka] Flicker Theatre and Bar - 9 p.m. Comedian and producer Jesse ‘McQueen” Adams is the creator of Comedy Central’s Snapchat series “Heads Will Roll,” and has headlined a Funny Or Die tour. His live shows are a rare multimedia hybrid of music, visuals and stand-up during which original songs and voiceovers accompany images and video. Adams, who splits his time between New York and Los Angeles, will perform tracks off of his upcoming debut album, Black Cat, which will be released via L.A.-based comedy label ASpecialThing Records on Oct. 25. The conceptual comedy album is a surreal trip inspired by childhood fever dreams.
