Initial Sermon
Connie Williams
The initial sermon of Elect
Lady Connie Smalls Williams will
be held on Sunday, May 10,2009 at
6:00p.m. at St. Paul Christian
Methodist Episcopal Church ,
where Dr. Henry R Delaney, Senior
Pastor presides.
Elect Lady Connie Smalls
Williams was ordained by God, on
September 10,1963. She is a native
Savannahian who attended St.
Mary's Parochial School and gradu
ated from Alfred E. Beach High
School in 1980. At the age of 14, she
met her loving husband, Pastor
Joseph Williams, Overseer/Founder
of Seeds Of Faith Worship Center.
They have two beautiful children
Jazlyn and Jordan Joseph Williams.
Elect Lady Williams was
baptized and received the Holy
Ghost at the age of 12.
She served and received her
first fruits under the leadership of
Pastor J .R. Benton at Tremont
Temple Missionary Baptist Church.
Elect Lady Williams, moved her
membership in 1990 to St Paul
Christian Methodist Episcopal
Church under the Leadership of
Rev. Dr. Henry Delaney.
Elect Lady Williams serves
with her Husband at Seeds of Faith
Worship Center which was organ
ized in June 2004. Elect Lady
Williams serves in many capacities
for the community. The scripture
that inspires her most is Ephesians
5:17 "Therefore do not be unwise,
but understand what the will of the
Lord is"

Action To Host Evangelism
Workshop
The Berean Missionary
Baptist Association of
Georgia Inc, along with the
Clergymen In Action, will co
host their first Evangelistic
Workshop May 8-9, 2009 at
First African Baptist Church
, of East Savannah, Rev.
Thomas E. Williams, Pastor.
The Workshop will
begin Friday, May 8, 2009 at
7 pm with an opening serv
ice close out on Saturday,
May 9, 2009 from 9am -12
pm. Lunch will be served.
The overall theme for
the workshop is Fishing on
the Savannah Coast. The
sub-theme is “An
Evangelistic Thrust”.
The scripture text for
the workshop is Luke 5: 1-11
. On Friday evening, Rev.
Ricky A. Bready, Sr., Pastor
of Tremont Temple Baptist
Church, will be the lecturer
and Rev. Michael Lewis,
Pastor of Second St. John
Baptist, will deliver the
evangelistic sermon.
Clergyman in Action’s
goal is to reach out into the
community evangelistically
as it moves into each new
year with the 12 Night
Revival Services.
The goal of the Berean
Mission Baptist Association
is to see souls saved through
the intentional efforts of the
local church community.
Classes will be held on
Saturday for all youth and
adults 12 and up.
Both groups are target
ing persons who are interest
ed in the ministry of evan
gelism and want to learn
more.
This training will
enhance the Evangelism,
Mission, Music, Hospitality,
Family, Deacon and
Deaconess Ministries of the
church.
There is no church reg
istration fee nor is there a fee
for individuals who wish to
attend.

The speaker for this event
will be Reverend Lolita L.
Hickman.
This dynamic speaker is
an Assistant to the Pastoral
Ministries of Connor's Temple
Baptist Church, Savannah,
Georgia, where Rev. Dr. Bennie
R. Mitchell, Jr. is pastor.
Rev. Hickman is actively
involved in the teaching and
preaching ministries of the
church.
Rev. Hickman received
her Bachelor of Arts degree in
Psychology and Master of
Science in Industrial
Psychology from Southern
Illinois University,
Edwardsville, Illinois.
She graduated Cum laude
from the Samuel DeWitt
Proctor School of Theology at
Virginia Union University
(STUV) in 2007, earning a
Master of Divinity degree.
Rev. Hickman is happily
married to Norval "Joe"
Hickman.
They are the proud par
ents of three adult children, and
one granddaughter.
