Celebrates Women’s Day
The Second African
Baptist Church, 123 Houston
Street on Greene Square, is
observing Women's Day on
May 17, 2009 at the 11 :00
morning services.
The theme for this
year's celebration is "God
Gives us Courage to be
Women of Integrity,"
The messenger for this
occasion will be Sis.
Dorothy Boston Wilson.
She is a life long mem
ber of St. James A.M.E.
Church where she is an
active participant of all phas
es of the uplifting of the
church.
This includes member
ship on the Trustee Board,
Christian Education
Department and the Senior
Ministry.
This well known speak
er is a native of Savannah,
GA.
She was educated in the
public schools and received
B.S and M. Ed Degrees from
Savannah State University,
formerly Savannah State
College.
This celebration prom
ises to be one of inspiration
and delight to all in atten
dance as the women lead this
period or fellowship.
The music will be
under the direction of Sis.
Brenda Pollen with special
music by the Angels of
Praise and guest soloist
Brandis Smith.
An added feature will be a
presentation by the members
of the Praise Dance Team of
Second African Baptist
Church.

Financial Seminar

attend a 2-day seminar enti
tled "Journey to Financial
Freedom" on Friday, May

The seminars are spon

dynamic instructors.
Each instructor and the
School are certified through
Nashville.

appointment.
Rev. Iglehart Eddings
is married to Dr. Joseph L.
Eddings, Sr., a Christian
educator and lay evangelist.
She is the devoted
mother of one beautiful
daughter, three handsome
