Hundreds of fans
arrived in style, dressed to
the nines. All of this to
make an impression on the
musical entertainers,
Deborah Cox and Kenny
Lattimore.
The “Timeless
Promise” Concert kicked
off in Savannah last
Saturday at the Trustees
Theatre.
The crowd cheered as
Deborah Cox serenaded
them with the new songs
from "The Promise", her
lastest album that was
released in late 2008.
She engaged the audi
ence with a sing a long. Cox
welcomed Mr. Dale
Whatley from the audience
to the stage as he declared
his love for her. She per
formed a love song to Dale
as his wife, Pam looked on.
Dale and Pam recently cele
brated their 12th wedding
anniversary. It was just
another exciting moment of
the concert.
Cox paid tribute to
Michael Jackson singing
his tunes "I'll Be There" and
"Will You Be There?".
Cox presented her ren
dition of Tina Turner and
held the audience in awe
with her silky voice. She
received a standing ovation
as she concluded, singing
her signature song..."How
Did You Get Here?".

audience got a chance to

fell to his knees singing hits
from his latest CD
“Timeless”.
Lattimore's self-titled
debut album produced the
hit single "Never Too
Busy" and the perennial
wedding song "For You" in
1996, and garnered him the
award for Best New Artist
at the NAACP Image
Awards later that year.
In 2003, he and his wife,
fellow recording artist
Chante Moore, reached
gold status with their album
"Things That Lovers Do."
The couple
released a second well-
received duet album,
"Uncovered/Covered," in
2006.
"Timeless", finds
Lattimore reaching into the
past to apply his interpre
tive abilities to a com
pelling set of familiar-and
not-so-familiar-material
drawn from a range of
sources, including pop,
R&B, rock and jazz.
The show climaxed
with a duet with Deborah
and Kenny.

his wife, Judy Mauldin,
executive director of the
