Founded in 1971, the
McCollough Scholarship
College Fund was initiated
by Bishop Walter
McCollough. It was Bishop
McCollough's vision to open
the doors of opportunity for
young people to attend some
of the nation's most presti
gious colleges and universi
ties by establishing an
avenue for financial assis
tance. As a result, these stu
dents have been afforded a
chance to receive college
degrees in a variety of insti
tutions as well as various
fields of study including
medicine, law, accounting,
business, engineering and
education. Since its incep
tion, more than 1,000 stu
dents have been recipients of
the McCollough Scholarship
Fund.
