Johnson Controls Donates $100,000 to
Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial
Liberty County Announces Events to
Celebrate the Life of Dr. Martin
MLK Memorial
Washington, D.C.-
Milwaukee-based
Johnson Controls made a
$100,000 contribution to the
Washington, DC Martin
Luther King, Jr. National
Memorial Project
Foundation, Inc. Charles A.
Harvey, the company's Vice
President, Diversity and
Public Affairs, announced the
donation during a check pres
entation ceremony at the
Travis Point Country Club in
Ann Arbor, MI.
"On behalf of Johnson
Controls' 130,000 employees
in 1,300 locations serving
customers in more than 150
countries, we present this
contribution with deep appre
ciation for Dr. King's work to
protect the ideals of justice,
democracy, love and hope for
all Americans," said Harvey.
"Participating in the building
of this lasting memorial to
Dr. King is one of the proud
est moments in our 124 year
history."
