Bluff Road. Deacon Harris
was born in Savannah,
Georgia to Deacon Ishman
Harris and the late Sister
Elmus Harris and is one of
nine children born to this
union.
Deacon Harris attended
the public schools of
Chatham CountY and is a
graduate of Windsor Forest
High School Class of 1987.
After graduating from high
school, he entered the United
States Army. Deacon Harris
received a double Associate
Degree from Fisher
University in Fitchburg,
Massachusetts in Business
Administration and
Accounting. He is dedicated
and devoted to the Mt.
Hermon Baptist Church
where he currently serves as
a Deacon. He has served as
the Chairman of the Deacon
Board, the Adult Sunday
School Teacher, a member of
the Mt. Hermon Male
Singers and is actively
involved in the Youth
Ministry.
Deacon Harris has
been married to the former
Ms. Kenyatta Bennett of
Leominster, Massachusetts
since April 10, 1989. They
have been blessed with five
children: Jerry Jr., Jarnel,
Jordan, and twins Jalon and
Juliana. Deacon Harris is
also the proud father of Ms.
Latoya Wingster. In October
2009, Deacon Harris accept
ed the call from God into the
ministry.
