Featured guest include, Mrs. Juanita Adams and the One Spirit Dance Troupe. Adams is known throughout the Savannah area and Chatham County Low Country as a motiva tional and inspirational speaker. A product of the local public schools, she is a 1965 honor graduate of Sol C. Johnson High School, received her B.A. degree with honors in English from Savannah State College (now Savannah State University), and later com pleted graduate studies at Atlanta University, now Clark Atlanta University. She retired from Savannah State in 2005 after 36 years as an assistant professor and Coordinator of Freshman Year Experience, and remained retired all of three months before returning to SSU as a part-time instruc tor. She presently sits on the Board of Directors of King-Tisdell Foundation, Inc., serves as Program Chairperson for the Board of Directors of the Greenbriar Children’s Center; Vice President of the Savannah Delta Foundation, Incorporated Board of Directors, President of the Mandingo Socio-Civic Club, member and Past President of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Youth Talent Coordinator of the Black Heritage Festival Steering Committee, Member of the Sol C. Johnson National Alumni Association, and member of Savannah Branch of the NAACP. One Spirit Dance Ministry is a professional dance company dedicated totally to ministry. It is the brainchild and inspiration of Pastor Darrell Parker, CEO of Godson Records. His vision is to take dance min istry to a higher level of praise, worship and profes sionalism in the gospel music industry. Under the creative and spiritual direction of Donna Kelly, "One Spirit" has reached thousands through classical ballet, jazz, hip hop, mime and dramatic expres sion. Their dance experi ences and attributes include opening for Shekinah Glory, Howard Hewitt, Ricky Smiley, Vanessa Bell Armstrong and Dr. Leonard Scott.
