Announces Savannah Expansion

County Commission
Chairman Pete Liakakis
and City of Savannah Mayor
Otis Johnson and Aldermen to
welcome Snell Enterprises,
Inc. (SEI) to Savannah on
Thursday, March 3.
Over the past 20 years,
SEI has successfully
run a Total Information
Technology Solutions
Company in Maryland.
To meet the changing
needs of their clients, SEI has
added a full compliment of
services to their business port
folio, including IT business
consulting and communica
tion that address the most crit
ical business issues today.
The opening of the
Savannah office will further
serve their growing list of
clientele.

business leader in the state of
Maryland, SEI has a reputa
tion for being a responsible
citizen with a heart for individ
ual and community empower
ment at the core of our
efforts,” said Ira Snell, III,
President & CEO of SEI. “We
plan to continue in this vein

SEDA board formed a com
mittee to recruit minority and

influence who have left a lasting
impression on our community.
Dr. Annette K. Brock is a
native of Savannah and a
proud graduate of Alfred Ely
Beach High School. She grad
uated from Savannah State
College (now University) in
1962 and earned a master's
degree in education from

ners based upon a nine point set

tion related to the vision of
AWWIN, Inc., services as a
role model to colleagues, peers,
and others, have a record of
exemplary service within her
community and the communi
ty at large, commitment, service
or accomplishments that have
significantly advanced the status
of women in the community,
personal obstacles/challenges or
other life roles that have impact
ed this woman’s success and
must live in the United States.
Completed packets are due
by March 31,2011. Ten individ
uals will be selected to receive
the “AWWIN Top Ten Working
Women of the Year” Award
2011 based on specific cate
gories. Selections will be made
and announced April 15, 2011

Critz, Inc. Reviews Plans for Major
Renovation and Build-Out

On Wednesday, March
2 a press conference was
held at Critz BMW and
Mercedes-Benz on
Abercorn Street at
Stephenson Avenue.
During that time, Dale
Critz, Jr. reviewed the plans
and itinerary for current and
upcoming construction for
major renovation to several
buildings on their luxury
and domestic properties, as
well as discussed unique
features of the new build
ings.
The three-part project,
which launched February 5,
is beginning with
Mercedes-Benz Sales and
Mercedes-Benz and GM
Service centers.
Phase 1 will be com
pleted by June 30 and will
encompass the renovation
of 15,000 square feet.
Phases 2 and 3 will be com
pleted by June 2012 and
will encompass the renova
tion of 25,000 square feet
and 3,500 square feet
respectively. Phase 2 will
focus on the renovation of
the BMW Sales and
Service centers, while
Phase 3 will cover the GM
Sales center. Hussey Gay
Bell and Deyoung
International are the archi
tects and engineers on all
three phases, and the con
tractor for Phase 1 is
Weimar Construction.
Each building will
feature various design ele
ments unique to the specif
ic brands. Phase 1 will
incorporate Mercedes-
Benz's "Autohaus" Global
Design initiative featuring
an integrated and open
sales and service reception
layout.
Phase 2 will be a ground-up
new BMW dealership
incorporating BMW's
belief that architecture is
critical to a client's experi-
