and best information on

of illness, and where possi
ble to reverse illness. We

results in nearly 100 per
cent of clients. We can help
you, too!
Call me, and lets talk about
Your Health.
Everyone is forever
looking for ways to have
lovely, soft, flawless skin.
Billions of dollars are made
and spent annually in search
of the right cream, wash,
scrub, facial and regimen
which will reveal the secret.
In talking with some
teens recently, the question
came up. The answers how
ever, where not what they
wanted to hear. In fact one
sweet 16 teen asked “Isn’t
there a cream for that?”
Sorry, no cream or other
applied-to-the-outside rem
edy can replace what is
needed on the inside.
As I told them, beauti
ful skin comes from with in.
So here are the easy and
fool-proof steps to over
come any acne problems.
Any person, any age, any
where.
Water, water, and more
water. Water is the ultimate
detox agent. Water flushes,
dilutes, purifies and is
essential for all the bodies
processes. Doctors never
write a prescription for
water yet it can treat aller
gies, asthma, depression,

high blood pressure, dia
betes, headaches, chronic
fatigue, colitis, alcohol
dependency, lower back
pain, neck pain and so much
more. Drink one half your
bodies weight in ounces of
water, daily.
Give up milk, it is
nature’s perfect food — yes,
if you are a calf. Our bodies
just weren’t made to digest
cow’s milk, 75% of humans
are allergic to milk. A
majority of acne cases, as
well as many other skin
blemishes, are caused by
food allergies, like milk.
Go for low glycemic
foods. Sugar, liquid calo
ries, and flour products all
drive up insulin levels and
cause pimples. Acne is a
sign of inflammation.
Eating more fresh veggies
and fruits are where the
antioxidants and anti
inflammatories are.
Getting the 8 to 13
servings per day of these
foods will produce beauty
from the inside out. Switch
to the good fats. Make sure
your diet is filled with the
anti-inflammatory fats from
krill oil, evening primrose
or cod liver oil, as a supple
ment, and cook with
coconut oil.
Eating foods that cor
rect the underlying cause of
problems such as nuts, dark
leafy veggies, berries, and
spices like ginger and
turmeric, drinking green
tea, and eat omega 3-
enhanced eggs.
Everyone needs a
whole food multi supple
ment daily, but for beautiful
skin add zinc citrate, 30 mg.
per day. Also, additional
Vitamins such as Vitamin A
for 3 months -(Take 25,000
IU a day) are essential.
Check with your doctor if
you are pregnant, and
Vitamin E (take 400 IU a
day as mixed tocopherols,).
Vitamin D3 as cod liver oil,
krill oil or flax seeds aid in
beautifuls skin if taken
daily. These simple tips
will deliver you glowing,
beautiful skin, the envy of
all your peers as your skin
blossoms into complete
loveliness. You’ll see!

First Lady Unveils Let's Move! Child
Care to Ensure Healthy Start for
Youngest Children
After visiting children
at CentroNia, a bilingual
child care center in
Washington, D.C., First
Lady Michelle Obama
unveiled Let’s Move! Child
Care, a new effort to work
with child care providers to
help our youngest children
get off to a healthy start.
The First Lady
released a checklist that
providers and parents can
use as a tool to encourage
healthy eating and physical
activity and limit screen time
for young children. In addi
tion, the First Lady
announced that the
Department of Defense, the
General Services
Administration and Bright
Horizons have committed to
these practices - a step that
will positively impact
approximately 280,000 chil
dren in 1,600 child care cen
ters nationwide.
Mrs. Obama was joined
by Health and Human
Services Secretary Kathleen
Sebelius, Vice Chairman of
the Joint Chiefs of Staff
General James Cartwright
and representatives from
Partnership for a Healthier
America, Bright Horizons,
Nemours Foundation and the
National Association of
Child Care Resource and
Referral Agencies (NACCR-
RA).
“Everyone is going to
see that these small changes
can make a big difference. If
our kids get into the habit of
getting up and playing, if
their palates warm up to veg
gies at an early age, and if
they’re not glued to a TV
screen all day, they’re on
their way to healthy habits
for life,” Mrs. Obama said.
“That’s why I’m so excited
about Let’s Move! Child
Michelle
Care - because I know that
childcare facilities and
home-based providers can be
a real building block for an
entire generation of healthy
kids.”
The check list includes:
1.Physical Activity: Provide
1-2 hours of physical activity
throughout the day, includ
ing outside play when possi
ble. 2. Screen Time: No
screen time for children
under 2 years. For children
age 2 and older, strive to
limit screen time to no more
than 30 minutes per week
during child care, and work
with parents and caregivers
to ensure children have no
more than 1-2 hours of qual
ity screen time per day, the
amount recommended by the
American Academy of
Pediatrics.
ii Food: Serve fruits or veg
etables at every meal, eat
meals family-style when
possible, and no fried foods.
3. Beverages: Provide access
to water during meals and
throughout the day, and do
Obama
not serve sugary drinks. For
children age two and older,
serve low-fat (1%) or non-fat
milk, and no more than one
4-6 ounce serving of 100%
juice per day. 4. Infant feed
ing: For mothers who want
to continue breastfeeding,
provide their milk to their
infants and welcome them to
breastfeed during the child
care day; and support all new
parents in their decisions
about infant feeding.
To best support providers
who choose to meet these
practices, Nemours is lead
ing an effort to provide free,
comprehensive resources
and tools in a newly devel
oped website, and the
National Association of
Child Care Resource and
Referral Agencies is commit
ted to providing technical
assistance to providers.
Providers and parents
can go to
HealthyKidsHealthyFuture.o
rg for these free tools and
resources and to share suc
cess stories.
