Healing .continued from page 4 milk is a major step in removing toxins from your diet, and therefore your body. Many meat eaters and meat manufacturers do not agree, but the scientific literature is replete in the proof that meat is detrimental to the health of our bodies. Eating meat causes acid and inflamma tion in the body, two ele ments at the heart of all dis ease processes, from stroke and heart attack - to diabetes and poor circulation, and everything in-between. That is just the beginning. And last, but certainly not at all the least, getting enough water. We drink a lot of liquids; however, most of the liquids we drink cause dehydration and cause us to loose even more fluid than we take in. We need lots of water, clean and pure for the bodily processes to take place easily and efficiently. Only water can make that happen. Also, water is the universal solvent for the body, so only water can dis solve toxins for removal from the body, and resolve fluid imbalances in the body. So, there it is, these are some of the most important actions you can take, to allow your body to easily and quickly triumph over even long-standing, debili tating illness. Start today and “your healing shall spring forth speedily." Note: If you’d like to be part of a wellness group to reverse diabetes, call me. This monu ment will be both a reminder and an example to people around the world demonstrat ing how to change the negative aspects of their societies, while preserving the best, and most importantly, preserving life and the infrastructure needed to maintain it. Just as the National Holiday commemorating Uncle M.L.’s life has become much more than a day of hero worship of a man, to a day where millions of Americans perform acts of service to oth ers, in fact, it’s the only holiday on the American calendar whose official designation states that is not a day for play but a day of service to others. Because of what Uncle M.L. did as a citi zen leader, the principles he fought and stood for this mon ument will follow that tradition and become more than a memorial to the man but an inspirational NONVIOLENT path to a more caring, a more peaceful and a more just socie ty As one who shares DNA with a guy, who I personally consider the greatest leader of the 20th century, it’s not the brick and mortar on the mall that gives me the greatest sense of pride, but the lesson that it conveys, CHANGE THROUGH NONVIO LENCE. Congratulations Uncle ML on a life well lived! Isaac Newton Farris, Jr. is the nephew of Martin Luther King, Jr. and currently serves as President/CEO of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference
