Honor Flight Savannah Honor Flight Savannah is a non-profit organization dedi cated to sending our area World War II veterans and Korean War veterans to Washington, D.C. to visit their war memorials. We have room on our trips for Korean War veterans. All expenses for the veterans are paid by Honor Flight Savannah. Honor Flight is not a government-supported program. This is a bid for construction and therefore the City’s local vendor preference ordinance will not apply.
