Scott has completed a
demanding four-year execu

the U.S. Fire
Administration’s National
Fire Academy.
Chief Scott has suc

to provide senior fire officers
with a broad perspective on
the various facets of fire and
emergency services adminis

instill in senior officers an
understanding of the need to
transform fire and emer

from being reactive to proac

leadership development and
risk reduction.
The Executive Fire
Officer Program enables the
officers to enhance their pro

through a series of four grad
uate and upper-division bac
calaureate equivalent cours
es. EFOP participants must
complete an Applied
Research Project that relates
to their own organization
within 6 months of comple
tion of each of the four
courses.
