Junior League 56 new provisional members
On Saturday, Sept.
8 the Junior League of Sa
vannah welcomed 56 new
members during a provision
al retreat held at Live Oak Li

to educate and train women
about the League, featured a
scavenger hunt, interactive
training and presentations
from Junior League Mem

“What is better than
an organization that serves
the community, while also
building relationships with
women from all walks of
life? I’m both excited and
proud to have the opportuni
ty to be a member of a group
filled with strong, female
leaders who want to serve
others,’’ said Jenny Lambeth,
2012-13 provisional class
member. These women will
continue their provisional
year with the Savannah
League; learning about the
organization and its mission
along with contributing to
various community outreach
projects.
The Junior League
of Savannah is an organi
zation of over 900 women
committed to promoting
voluntarism, developing
the potential of women and
improving communities
through the effective action
and leadership of trained
volunteers. Its purpose is
exclusively educational and
charitable.
