and officers from the Greater
Savannah Chapter, Bryan
County Chapter, Effingham
County Chapter and the Sales
& Marketing Council were
officially installed in the re
spective offices.

ored to have Rick Judson,
First Vice Chairman from
the National Association of
Home Builders as speaker
and to officially install the
officers and board members.

ity Homes was installed as
the President of the HBA of
Greater Savannah by his fa
ther, former local President
and Past President of the
HBA of Georgia, Mr. Jerry
Konter.
Other officers in
stalled were Stevie Williams,
vice president; Kevin Kirsch,
secretary; Mark Bouy, Bouy
Brothers treasurer, and Trac
ey Burdette, associate vice
president.
Elizabeth Williams
Holley received the coveted
Hall of Fame Award. The
organizers also recognized
former Hall of Fame recipi
ents, past presidents and past
associate vice presidents.
Carla Estep was
installed as Chairperson of
Sales and Marketing. Geri
Patrick received the Sales
and Marketing Person of the
Year Award. Byron Foomis
of Yates received the Woody
Woodward Memorial Award.
The 2013 Savannah
Black Heritage Festival will
celebrate Fiving the Fegacy
Feb. 1-23. Presented by the
city of Savannah and Savan
nah State University, festival
events and activities are free
of admission and open to the
public.
Included on the
2013 schedule are dance
performances, national and

Cole piece will be the third
festival production presented
from the National Portrait
Gallery’s Cultures in Motion
Series. Grand Festival Day, a
family-fun day of activities
and top entertainment at the
Savannah Civic Center, is

festival and will be held 10
a.m. until 9 p.m. on Feb. 9.
In addition to the variety of
activities and performances,
Grand Festival Day includes
a health and wellness fair,
youth programs, culinary
demonstrations and food and
retail vendors that offer an
array of cuisine, goods and
services.

on Wednesday, Feb. 20, as a
precursor to the Feb. 23 eve
ning performance of “Unfor
gettable Nat King Cole - The
Man and His Music.” The
theatrical production features
