Meetings
The Chatham Area Transit
Authority’s Board of Direc
tors announces that their
monthly meetings will be
held on the third Tuesday of
each month at 11 AM. The
meetings will be held at 24
Bull Street, the Old Court
house Building, in the 2nd
Floor Commissioner’s Meet
ing Room while construction
on the Downtown Intermodal
Facility continues. Chatham
Area Transit Authority (CAT)
has scheduled two public out
reach meetings for the month
of October. These meetings
will be held to begin the pro
cess of discussion for bus
service in March 2013. The
public is urged to provide
comments, recommendations
or suggestions to CAT’s staff
during these meetings which
will be held on: Thursday,
Oct. 25, 2012 at 6PM - 7PM
at the Southwest Chatham
Library, 14097 Abercom, lo
cated adjacent to Savannah
Mall. This schedule change
will effectively represent the
first step toward a bus pulse
system. It is also in line with
the agency’s transportation
development plan which
will forecast the service that
is necessary for the next five
years.
