Tybee Island will be hosting
the Coastal Empire Cycle
Fest Criterium, part of Speed
Week, a series of seven races
in seven Southeastern cit
ies that begin in Athens,
Georgia, and end in Sandy
Springs, Georgia. Festivities
get underway at 3:00p.m. at
Fannies on the Beach, 1613
Strand Avenue, Tybee Island,
Georgia.
The event includes
professional men and wom
en’s races, amateur races, and
an Amtryke Freedom Ride.
The race will run from the af-
lowship Hall. Hors D’oeuvres
will be serves. The public is
being invited. Since this is
one of the fund-raising proj
ects for the birth-month, a
small donation of $5.00 is
being requested. You may
contact one of the following

Friends of Coastal Gardens
and their mission to support
the Coastal Georgia Botanical
