2018 Summer Reading Program Begins
The Summer Bo
nanza Partnership, Inc. is a
program founded by Cha
tham County Commissioner
Dr. Priscilla D. Thomas. The
program will expose young
people to local government,
cultural diversity, and posi
tive role models. Strength
ening academic develop
ment while providing safe,
structured, and fun activities
for youth is essential. Sum
mer Bonanza meets once per
week on Saturday mornings
from 10 am - 1 pm at the
Moses Jackson Center. The
program fee is $10 per child.
Ages 7-14
Saturday, May 26, 2018 at

1 and continues through July
31, 2018 at all Live Oak
Public Libraries branch lo
cations in Chatham, Effing
ham, and Liberty Counties.
With the theme
“Libraries Rock!”, this
year’s program encourages
out-of-school time learning
through reading and engag
ing activities for children
and youth ages 0-18. Kids
and families will discover
great books and exciting
events at their local library.
To participate,
visit your library to get a
Reading/Activity Log, cal
endar of events and program
guidelines. Register online
for Summer Reading Pro
gram, track progress and
earn rewards as you go. Par
ticipants must be registered
online to be eligible for the
Grand Prize.
