Have We Forgotten
By: Krystle Kai Pate
Have we as Chris
tians forgotten that Jesus
came for the sick, and not
the well? Do we realize.
He is not interested in how
often we say His name but
that we understand the pow
er His name holds. That His
plans will always involve
the destitute, the lonely, the
angry, the condemned. Have
we forgotten that we were
those people? That none of
us were bom free, but bond
in need of the one with the
key to tme life. Have we?
If we identify why
we need Jesus we can view
our neighbors with great
peace and compassion. We
can lend a hand and not a
weighted foot. We can walk
with and not pass. Every
one won’t come, but that’s
ok because many will. Go
after them! God will give
you both the strength and
the wisdom where you lack.
Just be available.
