Appreciation Week (May 8th -
May 12th) with their Inaugural
Learning Legacy Award. Gift
ing $9,000 in $3,000 awards to
three teachers in the Georgia,
Florida and Alabama area, Step
One is accepting applications
from April 1st to April 21st and
will award the winners on May
3rd, 2023.

teachers and education in the
communities we operate. This
year we decided to celebrate
Teacher Appreciation Week
with the Inaugural Learning
Legacy Award. Step One Au
tomotive will give $9,000 in
$3,000 awards to three teachers
who are innovating the class

Learning Legacy
award recipients will be re
quired to provide updates in
cluding receipts, photos, and
videos of the funded project’s
progress at monthly intervals
until completion. Recipients
will have 6 months to com
plete the funded project. All

Life is Hello.
Life is Goodbye.
Camp Aloha is an overnight camp for children 6- 17 who have experienced the
death of a loved one. Held at the New Ebeneier Retreat Center, Camp Aloha
provides structured activities and play to help campers with their grief experience,
and is open to any child in Bryan, Chatham, Effingham, or Liberty counties-

Shantell who are natives of Los
Angeles County, California
joined the Savannah communi
ty-
In July 2022, the
Robertsons became the twenti
eth family of Butler Memorial
Presbyterian Church, USA.
The congregation was excited
to welcome the new first fam
ily last year and provided a cel
ebration at the church to show
gratitude to them for deciding
that Butler Memorial Presbyte
rian Church, USA and Savan
nah, GA would become the
place where they would wor
ship and call their new home. .
Rev. Leroy Pollen,
III, the guest speaker, deliv
ered the sermon entitled “The
Awesome Task Of Pastoring ”
which was an encouraging
message befitting a pastor of
new beginnings.
Following the ser
mon, Elder Johnye Gillans,
Chairman of the Pastor Nom
inating Committee, read the
constitutional questions as the
pastor answered in the affirma
tive.
Ruling Elder Alfred
Mullice, Moderator of the
Savannah Presbytery and a
member of the Butler Church
family, began the ceremonial
portion of the service with the
Prayer Of Illumination fol
lowed by the Declaration and
Welcome. Rev. Rick Douylliez
read the Charge to the Minis
ter, and Rev. Dr Stephen Wil
liams read the Charge to the
Congregation.
Rev. Stephen Robert
son gave closing remarks and
thanked his family who trav
eled from many miles across
the country to witness his
Installation Service. He also
thanked the Savannah Presby
tery Commissioners for their
participation, all clergy, pasto
ral nominating committee, the
officers and members of the
church, and the community for
their support.
Lastly, Rev. Robert
son asked everyone asked to
stand to sing the closing hymn,
“Guide Me, O Thou Great, Je
hovah” followed by the Bene
diction.
The church hosted a
reception following the bene
diction.
