Nelson will be joined by artists Butler Brown and Glo ria Ragland, who will have prints for sale. The event will take place at the McArthur-Saxon Home, 201, South Miller Street in Fort Valley. Other Peach Festival activities will include the kickoff celebration with fireworks at the Peach Festival shopping center in Byron June 18 at 6:30 p.m. June 19-20 activities will be in Fort Valley with the Peachy Pooch parade, and samples of the world’s largest peach cobbler.
