Since 1991, airplane compo nents for the Boeing 747 have been built in Perry. Early in 1997, the corporation announced it had been selected by The Boe ing Co. to produce aircraft doors for the Boeing 737, 757. and 767 airplanes, as well as additional doors for the 747. In March, 1998, the company announced it had signed a mem orandum of agreement with Boe ing to produce two additional passenger doors for each 747 jet liner, making Northrop Grumman the sole supplier of aircraft doors for the 747 and bringing to 41 the total number of doors pro duced in Perry. The Aircraft Doors Center has accomplished a great deal over the past year: V delivering a door every 40 minutes: V delivering 64 ships sets of floor beams this year; V completing the first build of the newly designed 737 Main Deck Cargo Door; V completing the 747 Fuselage Frame Assembly work. Today the site has become not bath.
