Adamina Guerra, who are
both pastors at Maranatha
Evangelistic Center.
A highlight of the trip was
the dedication of the
Maranatha Center's new
church building, which Phelps'
mission has helped finance.
“They had an old wood
army building with termites
in it before this,' Phelps said.
Now the church can seat
300. and there are plans for
enlargement.
The mission group led four
nights of services at the
church, and spent their days
visiting people in the communi
ty with Rev. Adamina Guerra.

cousin Belverly Wright, and
friend. Rebecca Kennedy.
Batchelor is stationed at
Sheppard Air Force Base in
Wichta Falls, Texas, where
he will receive training as a
U.S. Navy Construction
Battalion Electrician.
"We spent our time sharing
Jesus with people, praying
with them, praying for the
sick,” Phelps said. “One lady
was deaf and after prayer, she
could hear again."
They also visited a chil
dren’s prison where they
prayed with the children and
provided them with supper.
Over the years, according
to Phelps, the Looking unto
Jesus ministry has provided
substantial support to the
Guerra's and their church,
helping with the costs of the
new church building which
has and also providing two
vans for the church.
