Property which secures the loan is being foreclosed on so the lender can take it to sell or otherwise pay off the loan. A sim ilar category is a tax sale, where the county or a city is selling the property to collect unpaid prop erty taxes. These notices typically run the four Wednesdays prior to the first Tuesday of the month when the sales are held at the Houston County Courthouse in Perry.
