He is heading to Jack sonville, Fa., along the old route through Hawkinsville. “God loves a person who travels. He can work with your spirit along the journey," said Thompson. Thompson said while he never hitch-hikes, peo ple along his path have offered rides. He said shelter and food are often given as well. The Lord does provide," said Thompson. He said the Christian net work across the country enables him to ‘sleep in motels most often, though I have no problem finding a nice soft grassy area to rest my head. ‘I believe the more that is given to you, the more that is required from you.
