Obituaries Herman Askew Herman Askew of Perry died Nov. 1, 1999. Services were held at 2 p.m. N0v..6, in the sanctu ary of the Green Grove Bap tist Church. Burial was in the church cemetery. Mr. Askew was born in Houston County and edu cated in Houston County Schools. He was a member of Green Grove Baptist Church, and was employed by Tolleson Lumber Co. Survivors include his wife, Mary Askew of Perry; six sons. Herman Askew Jr.. David Askew, Leon Askew, Morris Askew, Douglas Askew and Emory Askew, all of Perry; three daughters.
