Chamber lists Christmas at Crossroads events The Perry Area Chamber of Commerce will be cele brating its 29th Annual Christmas at the Cross roads beginning Dec. 3 with a 7:30 p.m. Perxy Players' production of “A Star at the Crossroads." Christmas at the Cross roads continues on Dec.r 4 at 2 p.m. with a parade and additional showings of the “A Star at the Crossroads" at 3 and 7:30 p.m. Dec. 5 from 2-5 p.m. will feature a Christmas Open House downtown, and the Com munity Candlelight Service, sponsored by the Perry Min isterial Association will also be held Dec. 5 at 7 p.m. The Balvaunuca Club will be hosting “Holiday Traditions- A Christmas Tour of Dining Rooms" on Dec. 12 from 2-6 p.m. For more information, call Perry Area Chamber of Commerce at 987-1234. Nov. 23, a family movie will be shown at 4 p.m. and story time will be at 7 p.m. In addition. Sherry Nor folk, a story teller, will be doing a special perfor mance Nov. 23 at 11 a.m. Craft day will be held Nov. 24 for children K-5. Kindergartners through second graders will have craft class at 11 a.m. and third through fifth graders will have craft class at 2:30 p.m. Pre-registration is required. Pilot Club to host Nov. 18 fashion show From Statt Reports Members of the Pilot Club of Perry will host their seventh annual Holiday Fashion Show and Dessert at 7:30 p.m., Nov. 18, at the Perry Recreation Build ing, Rozar Park. Participating merchants will be Sharing Elegance Formal Wear of Henderson, the Tog Shop, the Fashion Bug, C&C. Photography, Tailored Tots and Sugar Plum Tree. Draper Watson will serve as fashion commentator, and desserts will be served as a club spokesman described, “from the kitchens of the best cooks in town.” The Pilot Club uses pro ceeds from the fashion show to fund many com munity projects, including the Perry Pregnancy Cen ter, Camp Can-Do, Christ mas Foster Child, Project Agape Love, Loaves and Fishes of South Houston County, the American Can cer Society Relay for Life and Meals on Wheels. Elizabeth Bonner is chair of this show. Committee members are Joyce Green and Beverly King. Admission is $lO, with tickets on sale by Pilot Club Members, and some tickets available at the door. Donations of $1 may be made to participate in a drawing for a decorated Christmas tree.
