Requests for Proposals
or Negotiated Bids
The City of Perry is requesting sub
mission of bids from qualified contrac
tors in the areaof construction and
renovation for a wastewater treatment
plant. The scope of work includes
demolishing existing headwords
structures, furnish and install soda
ash feed system, sand blast/repaint
packed towers, perform maintenance
service on existing mechanical equip
ment, furnish and erect new blower
shed and aeration piping, demolish
existing “horseshoes," remove brush
aerators and associated appurte
nances for sludge, install aeration sys
tem, furnish and install new 2500 KVA
and 1000 KVA transformers with new
electrical power service, and furnish
and install various disinfecting sys
tems, screw lift pump and control
equipment.
Procedures for selection on an
individual or firm will be in accordance
with local government requirements,
the Common rule Selection Process,
and the Georgia CDBG Program
Guidelines. All bids will be evaluated
fairly in terms of project approach, tim
ing, experience, quality of work, and
other applicable and reasonable fac
tors.
Applicants must comply with Fed
eral Guidelines on Employment
Opportunities. Bid packages may be
obtained at the City of Perry Purchas
ing Department or by calling James

All bid forms must be accompanied
